Building Excellence on a Foundation of Safety:Hengyuan Bearing Holds "Deepening Safety Production, Safeguarding the Future of Intelligent Manufacturing" Conference and Training
To continuously strengthen its development foundation and enhance the safety awareness of all employees,Hengyuan Bearingsuccessfully convened a thematic conference and company-wide training session titled "Deepening Safety Production, Safeguarding the Future of Intelligent Manufacturing" The event aimed to comprehensively upgrade the company's safety management system from three dimensions-management, technology, and culture-integrating the concept of safety production deeply into every stage of R&D, manufacturing, and service. This initiative provides a solid guarantee for achieving sustainable, high-quality development. Nearly fifteen participants, including senior management, department heads, key production line staff, and new employees, attended this significant gathering.
The company manager delivered a speech.
The conference commenced with a keynote speech by Mr. WANG, General Manager of the company. He emphasized, "In the field of precision manufacturing, quality is our lifeline, and safety is our baseline-our absolute red line. Any excellent product is born from a safe, orderly, and reliable environment. The high-precision and high-reliability requirements of our core products, such as ball screws and linear guides, which serve high-end equipment and automated production lines, are intrinsically linked to the rigor, standardization, and safety requirements in our manufacturing processes. Safety production is not only the utmost responsibility for the lives and health of our employees but also the fundamental guarantee for product quality and our commitment to customers. We must aim for 'Zero Accidents, Zero Harm' and internalize the safety culture, putting it into practice."
Following this, Ms. LI, Production Director and Chair of the Safety Committee, delivered a thematic report. The report systematically reviewed the achievements and shortcomings of recent safety work, providing an in-depth analysis alongside industry case studies. It outlined four core initiatives for the next phase of safety production:
A comprehensive upgrade of the standardized safety production system, further refining safety responsibilities down to every team and every position. Implementing "grid-based + checklist-based" management to ensure comprehensive risk identification and closed-loop hazard rectification. Special emphasis will be placed on risk assessment for new equipment and processes, and the timely updating of safe operating procedures.
Announcing the pilot launch of the "Smart Safety Workshop" project. Plans include installing more IoT sensors and visual recognition systems on key production lines and equipment for real-time monitoring and intelligent alerts regarding equipment status, standard operating procedures compliance, and unauthorized entry into hazardous zones. Empowering safety management with data, shifting the focus from post-incident response to proactive prevention.
Officially launching the annual "Safety Culture Month" campaign. Through initiatives like the "Safety Star" award, the "Spot the Hazard - Snap and Report" activity, and family safety message programs, the aim is to foster a strong atmosphere where "everyone values safety, everything is done for safety, and safety is always on our minds." Every employee is encouraged to become an active participant and supervisor in safety management.
The concurrent company-wide safety training was pragmatic and focused. It covered not only general knowledge like fire safety, electrical safety, and chemical management but also included specialized sessions tailored to the company's manufacturing characteristics, such as safe operation protocols for high-precision machine tools, safety in hoisting heavy components, and precautions for human-robot collaboration on automated assembly lines. The training combined theoretical instruction, video case studies, and hands-on drills to ensure knowledge was understandable, memorable, and applicable.
During the afternoon's product-line-specific workshops, each business unit engaged in in-depth discussions on safety issues pertinent to their production processes. For instance, the precision assembly workshop discussed preventing the risk of micro-component ejection during installation, while the grinding area focused on enhancing dust protection and the effectiveness of equipment safety interlock devices. Participants actively contributed, sharing many best practices and valuable suggestions from the front lines.
This conference and training session served not only as an intensive knowledge-sharing event but also as a comprehensive consolidation of safety consensus and a mobilization for renewed safety management efforts. It signifies that Hengyuan Bearing is placing safety production at a more strategic core position on its path towards technological excellence and manufacturing sophistication. Building on a foundation of safety and striving for development through quality, Hengyuan Bearing is steadily advancing towards a more robust and exceptional future.
